“Painting pictures with words” stands for the passion and joy with which Christian has been guiding people from near and far through his beloved Frankfurt for several years.

Born in Darmstadt and raised in the heart of the Odenwald, he moved to Frankfurt on the Main after training as a hand lithographer. There he studied marketing and communication and managed marketing, sales and events for well-known tourism companies for many years.

After exciting years as manager of a Bundesliga soccer club and as an independent consultant for marketing, communication and transformation, he decided to leave. Christian was looking for new challenges that would positively enrich his life and bring fulfillment. He found it in his beloved art – “in painting pictures”. As a painter with brush and paint and as a certified tour guide and storyteller with words.

It is a great pleasure for Christian to introduce the participants of his entertaining tours to the various known and unknown facets of Frankfurt from a historical and contemporary perspective. He is also particularly keen to gently dispel existing prejudices about Frankfurt.

“Mainhattan”, with its vibrant life and many obvious and hidden faces, is the city he loves and where he feels at home.

Christian speaks German, English and in Hessian when one wants to hear it…
